Giants Official Yearbooks

Giants Official Yearbooks are an excellent collectible because not only do they review the football season of a given team, they also contain indepth pages of information on the players and coaches with extra emphasis on photographs.  The production of the modern era Giants Official Yearbooks actually began in 1986 (which covered season 1985).  Over that period of time, the Giants Official Yearbook has been produced and published by four separate organizations.  The 1986 Yearbook up through the 1993 Yearbook was produced and published by Woodford Publishing of San Francisco, California.  Yearbook 1994 through Yearbook 1996 was produced and published directly by the New York Giants Organization.  Yearbook 1997 was produced and published by Finlay Sports of New York.  Yearbook 1998 up to the present is produced and published by CWC Sports Inc. of Marina Del Rey, California.

To the best of my knowledge, no official yearbooks were produced between 1977 and 1985.  During the mid 1970s, however, KBS Advertising Inc. of Brookfield, Wisconsin produced yearbooks for certain teams (Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, Minnesota, NY Giants, NY Jets and Washington).  These yearbooks were produced under the title "Sports Focus Football Issue" and contained information comparable to the yearbooks currently being published.

I have been unable to track down a 1972 Giants Official Yearbook and do not know whether or not one was published for that year.  Yearbook 1963 through Yearbook 1971 was all produced and published directly by the New York Giants.
