New York Giants Game VHS/DVD List
First, and foremost, I DO NOT SELL GAMES!!! It is a violation of copyright law and something I will not partake in - so PLEASE do not ask! I am currently very busy with converting my collection to DVD and the scope of my trading will be limited to acquiring master footage in exchange for access to my collection (i.e. borrowing your master tapes, converting them and sending you the converted game in DVD plus your requests from my collection ... I will also consider your rendered DVDs depending on picture quality).
PLEASE NOTE: I have received numerous requests from individuals who are unable to help advance my collection. At the risk of sounding harsh and rude, I regret that I will be unable to help you until AFTER I've completed the conversion of all my raw source VHS and DVD footage into my finalized DVDs. At this point, I estimate completing this task in late 2008. I truly want to help folks with their collections; however, my top priority at the moment is working towards a complete DVD collection in the best quality available. Again, my apologies and I thank you for your patience.
For anyone who can provide me access to any of the following games, I will offer you any (and all) games from my entire collection:
- 1977: NY Giants at St. Louis (MNF)
- 1977: Cleveland at NY Giants
- 1978: NY Giants at Tampa Bay (Sat Nite opener)
- 1978: Kansas City at NY Giants

My objective is to acquire whatever video coverage exists of New York Giants football games for the purpose of analysis and drawing up game summaries for the history portion of my Giants website. Below is the majority of my collection of New York Giants games (I also have acquired many Giants games from sources who asked me not to list or trade them; as a result, they are not listed here). The following is my grading system which describes the general condition of each of my games.
- M: - indicates the footage originated from MY master tape
- Ex - Excellent condition (8.5 or better out of 10): picture is clear and is generally free of imperfections (worst case being a small imperfection) ... usually master grade footage
- VG - Very Good condition (between 6 and 8.5 out of 10): game is definitely viewable, but will have one or more imperfections (e.g. tracking, static or fuzz in picture, etc.) ... usually a first generation recording
- G - Good condition (between 4 and 6 out of 10): game is viewable, but suffers from multiple imperfections or picture degradation ... usually a multiple generation recording
- +/- - plus or minus signs, when used with the above grading categories, indicate the condition of the tape is "a little better" or "a little worse" than the grade assigned to a particular game tape
- DVD - any game whose media is identified as DVD in boldface has been converted as such using my rigorous process to ensure the highest quality footage conversion and to include fancy menus with chapter points at the breaks in the telecasts
- "Multiple Video Source" games - indicates more than one footage source was used to make this game. This is done to create as complete a telecast as possible. The ratio (e.g. 90%/10%) indicates the ratio of the higher quality footage (i.e. left value) used to the lower (i.e. right value).
